Dr. Grise, the Director of Bands from Bradley University, spent Thursday morning helping the 7/8 grade band finalize preparations for their fall concert and gave the 6 grade band great guidance as they start their instrument journey. Thanks, Dr. Grise!

Girls basketball kicks off their season on Tuesday with a home game against Brimfield starting at 5 PM! Student Council will be hosting theme nights for each home game again this season. Tuesday night will be Neon Night! Pack the JDS!!!

Ms. Ganson's 7th grade science students finished the first day of their pond water lab in the school garden as they discovered how to capture microscopic organisms and macroinvertebrates, how to identify the organisms using a microscope, and how these organisms are used to determine the water quality of the pond.
