Students got to watch their teachers participate in a staff volleyball game today. Congratulations to the 5th grade team, who beat 6th grade, and the 8th grade team, who beat the 7th grade!

Thank you to our fabulous scorer's table and everyone who worked so hard to help us host the 8th Grade Girls Basketball State Tournament! A special shout out goes to Charlie Drier and Todd Peterson who volunteer their time during the girls and boys basketball seasons every year. You make our games an immersive experience. Thank you!
6th-8th grade band students had a wonderful time bringing music and holiday cheer to the delightful residents and staff of the Motherhouse!

Congrats to the chess team and congrats to these fifth graders who earned individual top awards! Fifth grade won a third place team trophy and Mitchell Hohulin got a fourth place trophy for eighth grade. The tournament was at Brimfield and consisted of 350 players. Awesome job!
Student Council volunteered at the Salvation Army Toys for Tots Warehouse on Friday. The middle school donated 340 items to the cause!
Our FIRST Lego League Challenge Robotics team the Robot Warriors competed this weekend in the Peoria area Qualifier tournament at Limestone High School against 40 other robotics teams. The Robot Warriors were awarded first place for their Innovation Project and their overall performance earned them a spot to advance to the Regional Robotics tournament to be held in January. Team members are Corbin Cox, Georgia Bevard, Asher Malinosky, Alex Marino, Judah Padiak, Auron Schonert, Miles Tauke, Micah Voorhees & Tucker Williams. Great job team!

Middle school and elementary students teamed up again today for an enjoyable Buddy Day!
Congratulations to our 7th grade girls basketball team on a wonderful season and their second place finish in the 7-3A state tournament. We could not be more proud of your growth throughout the season and the sportsmanship and positive attitude you displayed on a daily basis! These girls represent the very best of our community on a daily basis! Way to work, Warriors!
Congratulations to our golden ticket lunch winners. I was honored to be invited to celebrate with them! These students had shown great lunch room behavior and had their names drawn for the golden lunch ticket. This ticket gives them access to the beautifully decorated lunch table and ice cream!
Congrats to the winners of the Gratitude award for the month of November! These students stood out for appreciating the people and things around them! This month the students continue to work on being empathetic.
Our students were bundled up today with their hats and scarves! Mrs. Fiveland even found some friends with matching hats!
