Last Friday we celebrated our last day of Honesty! We celebrated the students who were nominated by their teachers who best represented being truthful in what they say and do!
On Friday March 7th, the whole school is unplugging and going offline! The administration, along with the counselors and Deputy Garber have put together a presentation about unplugging.

Today we are sending home a paper copy of the Family Fun Screen Free Activity Board from the presentation. Please continue the National Day of Unplugging on Friday and through the weekend by completing activities from the board with your families! If you cross off and initial any of the activities that you complete, return the activity board to your child's teacher to earn house points!!

CHESS STATE Congrats to our chess team who participated in the IESA State Championship in Peoria this past weekend.
**8TH Grade finished in the top 20 out of 59 teams! They were led by Evan , Mitchell and Eli who were 5 for 8 in their matches.
**7TH Grade: Ryan, Chief, Corbin and Colin S. lead the team to a very solid 5th place finish and missed an outright 4th place team trophy by 0.5 pts! Furthermore, Ryan, Chief and Corbin earned 6 wins each and received a Bronze medal from the state!
**6TH Grade: Connor B., Gavin H., Andrew B all added to their amazing run! They finished 9th out of 40 schools and Connor received a Bronze medal for his 6 wins!
7th grade continued their how-to speeches today!

Sixth grade band was able to have a Zoom meeting with the composer of a band song that they are premiering Friday night. They had a fantastic time meeting and playing for composer Scratch Eden today!

Valentine's Day was filled with FUN! At Fun Friday our top cup stacking students competed to be the Cup Stacking Champions & we ended our assembly with our entire K-4th grade doing the Cupid Shuffle!
