NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Education of Germantown Hills School District Number 69, County of Woodford, Illinois, that a public hearing on a proposed property tax levy increase will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Nauman Media Center at Germantown Hills School District #69 located at 103 Warrior Way, Germantown Hills, IL 61548.
The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $4,627,781.
The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $5,121,198. This proposed aggregate levy represents a 10.66 percentage increase over the previous year.
The property taxes extended for debt service for 2024 were $599,587.
The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service for 2025 are $100,000. This proposed levy represents an 83.32 percentage decrease over the previous year.
The total property taxes extended for 2024 were $5,227,368.
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $5,221,198. This proposed levy represents a 0.12 percentage DECREASE over the previous year.
